I'm not a professional designer per se, but before I dropped out of college I was going for graphic design XD so I put together some quick ideas, if you're still looking for a logo

A community to send a song based on the last song that was posted. Make sure to sort by new.
Yes, I've migrated (duplicated) from reddit.
Rules:
- Have fun
- When you post new songs, make sure to sort the posts by "new"
- Any excuse works for the connection between the songs (see examples below) but put your reasoning in the post body
- Wait a couple of hours after posting before you post again if no one posts after you
- Be polite and excellent to each other!
- Songs in any language is welcome, but make sure you add explanation in English
Example links:
- Word appearing in the title of both songs
- Lead singer has the same name (or is the same person)
- Guitar solo is similar between the song
- Appearing in the same film
- A specific sentence that appears in both songs
- The mother of the guy who built the guitar used in this song was working in the vegan fish&chips stand where the woman singing the song you picked met her second husband

I think the second one would be neat as a banner, if you were to expand it to six or so records wide or something, all in a chain like that.
And those are all gonna download as jpeg instead of png with transparent backgrounds. Lemme know if you need the original png

Some ideas for the banner (let me know if you like any of these, they are some AI generations I "created" using MS designer, I am a procreate artist, so if you do not like AI art I can recreate them based on any of these ideas. But they look somewhat decent. "Two music notes kissing" and "Two records holding hands", lol)

Thanks so much! This is a cool idea. Two thoughts about the images:
- I prefer man-made than AI-generated. So if you can recreate this, after having the final design, I'd prefer that. Of course, our time is limited, and you are doing this for free, so I'm not going to demand anything from you.
- I think it's a bit two happy-smiling-kissing-bees. I would like to see some representation of the various musical styles. Like, showing in the background some factories (industrial), sea (surf music), etc. The last one, with the street lights, shows that to some level. (Other members, feel free to suggest ideas)

I would be happy to. Yea, as an artist myself, I only use AI generated for reference and inspiration. Think of the ideas as a creative pitch. I will work on a more serious and inclusive design on procreate within the next couple of weeks. I don't accept money for my work anyways, I just love making art too much.
I'll be sure to include factories, the sea, and some urban elements in the background. I could include some instruments linked with chains or something like that to be more sophisticated, lol. The kissing/holding hands idea was just a funny idea when I thought of the word connection, so I will nix that and use a different way to link them.
In the next few days if anyone wants to add some keywords for depicting various music styles with objects, etc, feel free to reply to this comment as I will draft up a few ideas soon.
I hope to finish before the New Year. And I will also see about revising the logo. Thank you for the opportunity!

Also, is it possible to make the records a bit blurry? Or just the edges of the entire image a bit blurry. Do you think it would look better?

On browser, on the community page sidebar area above the join button, there is an edit icon (box with pencil). Click that and there is a button to upload banner.
Depending on exactly what's needed, I may be able to help mod. I have absolutely no design skills so I wouldn't be any good for #2, and can barely code my way out of a paper bag, so #3 is pretty much out, too.

It's fairly simple: as long as no one is posting some toxic shit (didn't happen so far) - you don't have to do much; if you don't see any connection between songs, ask the poster to clarify.
