The Gov General is our representative for the King, and is exactly why she is receiving them.

Yeah you're one step further from them, I guess, but also they are like the biggest royals.
Like there's still a bunch of small royals in Northern Europe. They just don't exactly have the same sort of palaces and hobbies that the British ones do.
Our royals went to visit Sweden a year or two ago, IIRC.
