Folks pls take a look at this. One of our comrades could use some help rn. My favourite person on Lemmy, sharing the link or boosting for engagement would be helpful too. ❤️

All these years I've been reading a book without an orange.

Elsewhere, an orange is reading a book without you.

What a great take on cubism

Do take a look at the link folks. Its one of our most prolific Lemmy posters. Lemmy simply would not be the same without him. A vital pillar of the community.

Absolutely ! Since my switch from reddit they’re my favorite poster.

The poster being referred to in the post is Stamets.

[–] Soup@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

But even the link to the other community is a post by you can I can’t find “Stamets” anywhere.

[–] rob_t_firefly@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

It's not a post by me, I'm just a commenter.

Are you looking at the https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/56680255 link written in the body of this post? It leads to a post by Kasane Teto about Stamets.

Ok maybe it’s my Lemmy app because I don’t see a link in your post or comment. There’s a crosspost and that’s it.

Something is definitely wonky then because I’m seeing this post as a cross-post from VisualArts which is a post, of this piece of art, made by you. Like, I’m fine to believe you but you can understand where I’m coming from here. In the comments the only link is your link to the VisualArts community(now the correct one as well but that was after).

None of these posts are made by me, I'm only commenting.

This post was made by someone with the username SnokenKeekaGuard, with a link indicating the post is crossposted from a visualarts community. But that is followed in the text body of this post by a different link which leads to a help_others community, which is made by a poster called Kasane Teto which is about the help needed by someone called Stamets.

And I, a commenter called Rob_T_Firefly, am none of these people.

Screenshot of this post as it appears on Lemmy in a desktop browser follows, yellow text added by me. If your Lemmy app isn't showing you all this info somehow, your app stinks and you need a better app or a normal web browser.

Ah sorry, didn’t notice that(it’s why I generally identify myself as a separate commenter). Anyway, this just confirms that the issue is that app I’m using isn’t showing me everything and if was I obviously wouldn’t be making this comment.

No worries. Best of luck!

The hand holding the head, perfectly in line with the hair

[–] klemptor@startrek.website 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Oddly, it's the foot under the blanket. Something I can relate to!

Someone mentioned that in the original post too.

Long haired contortionist elbowing the spine of a book, while an orange coloured sphere lies around as a backup plaything.
