While Iran does have an oppressive government, literally no one in Iran is as oppressed as Palestinians by Israel in the West Bank or, even on October 6th, Gazans, not even close, but none of these people had that kind of heat for Israel.
During the 12 day war, Israel struck civilian targets like hospitals, apartment buildings, and that famous attack on a news station and people were more upset that Iran called Israel's attacks a war crime than they were with Israel committing these crimes.
All this and then you know what? They'll turn around and wonder why the global South has decided to work with China over America; "must be authoritarianism and bad culture" they'll say.
Libs seriously excusing atrocities and wars against the global South because "Western culture is superior, our way of life is better" should be 
repeatedly, and you know what? This isn't even hyperbole, you literally hear reporters and talk show hosts say this on TV all the time; this is brainwashing; it's manufacturing consent. Israel or America picks the fight, and reporters are on the air immediately to repeat this, because the nation must be united patriotically to support the troops during war time, even though the other country did not choose to have that war.
