Huh. There was a toggle to turn that off in settings. I guess it's permanently off now.
That's just for climbing while sprinting, r*dditors say it was a problem for console players using jump packs and that the setting wouldn't help with that (idk the specifics)

Epoch feels a lot better now.
Solo solo improvements, hell yeah.
Hopefully they work on performance a lot more. There is nothing fun about a game where when I drop a gas strategem I also drop to 20fps
I couldn't play today. The game froze for several seconds every other moment.
Even on the god damn ship itself! Steam file verification didn't help. Seems like I have to wait for a hotfix...
delete the shader cache, fixed lots of issues for me

I googled and came across a small guide how to actually do it (for everyone else that's stumbling across this post):
Start button>%appdata%>Arrowhead>Helldivers2
You want to delete the "Helldivers2" folder, and re launch the game. This will reset all settings, but fix hard locks.
Worked for me and 6 others
It is likely a shader issue, or something of the like.

What's durable damage?
Math is hard.
So a gun has 2 damage types - normal and durable. An enemy has certain resistance types, normal and durable. Different ratios mean some weapons are better at hurting enemies than others? For a durable enemy, you want a high durable damage gun. For a normal enemy, you want a high normal gun. If you mix that (durable gun VS normal enemy or vice versa), it'll work, but not well.
Is that right?
