In like 2013 I thought EVs were flaccid
Then partook in some nice EV karting for fun. And holy shit. Not only was it torquey and fast, but it also didn't make you smell like shit, put out a bunch of fumes, and was QUIET. I could hear the tires squeal and chirp and roll, it was amazing.
And then after our race, it was just,.. plug them in. That was it.
And the torque was CONSTANT and linear.. it's very hard to understand or describe without just doing it. Like from a stop to you hit the software top speed, you have max torque the entire time, immediately, whenever you want it.
Totally changed my views and values on EVs forever.
