RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

I had a crown lengthening done and the packing came off like a couple days ago. Looks good but they want me to brush after every single meal and my brain who hates brushing (... which is why we're here with all the tooth issues) is sobbing.

And tomorrow I have my root canal retreated and the idea of that scares the shit outta me. I have Xanax just for this but my doctor only gave me half because idk she's bad at refills sometimes. I have enough for this appointment but I'll have to bother her again.

So all in all, bad. It's a bad week.

Speaking of doctor she just called after this about my blood tests which are trending better for my thyroid, so I was able to bother her then about the Xanax situation. She said she'll send in a second scrip for 5, too very to the 10 I needed.

I also need to do yet another ultrasound. Exciting!!!

Things aren't that bad in my life, relatively speaking.

Just, I'm coming to terms with the fact that this workplace is shitty, and likely beyond repair.
Statu quo is a tough nut to crack though.
I could make a move, I might even have an opportunity lined up. Sure, there's a few variables that I can't account for, but whatever.

The real question is... is this really what I want?
