My whole family got to see Dr. Goodall speak when she came through Chicago last month. I knew at the time that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
I'm so grateful we got the chance before her passing.

MODERATORS
Scrolling my Lemmy feed in the morning is always nice. Lots of comics, art, music, wholesome posts, memes, a little tech.
It doesn't feel like mindless scrolling, like on the big tech platforms and always brings a smile to my face.
I agree! It's got a great atmosphere here, and it feels more personal. Plus not an ad in site!

Yesterday it was atheist memes. Also had a client say "I glad you didn't get caught up in the rapture" and we spent the last part of the session laughing about it. Wonderfully good times 🙂
