I've been wanting to put together a successful Secret Santa as that was one of the traditions of ancient Internet that I've always enjoyed.

So, I'm putting together a Secret Santa event for the combined users of the Warhammer 40k and Tabletop minis communities.

I've set up an email: 40k_2025@protonmail.com

Only I have access to it, and I'll delete it after the conclusion of the event.

Anyone who wants to participate in the Secret Santa should send a short email with shipping info, and preferences in hobbying. I'll collect up all the emails by the end of NOVEMBER 3rd. After that date I won't consider any new participants; sorry I want to give everyone time to buy and ship gifts. NOVEMBER 3rd.

Shortly after that date I'll send out emails to all the participants about who they will be sending a gift to.

I think a value of $40ish dollars is reasonable for a hobby exchange, but really it's about the spirit of the gift giving.

An event like this only works with enough willing participants and it works best with a lot of people, so if you're even on the fence about it I highly encourage it.

Given shipping weirdness, I'll only be pairing US participants with other US participants. European community members should be able to all ship to each other and will be default paired up. If you are willing to ship outside of Europe just mention it in your entry email. Any participants outside of Europe or the US should similarly mention their ability to ship.
