At a first look it looks like a colour revolution the power was held at least in part by "communists" (they were mostly revisionists but still). A violent protests that outted them out of the government is very suspicious especially considering the history of the US and the fact that they've been publicly considering an attack on Venezuela.

but I don't consider myself extremely well informed on Nepali politics so maybe I'm missing something
