Respect, definitely worried for them though

Especially with the US recently just blowing up vessels in international waters with not even a peep from the international community.

The US's president could diddle a bunch of kids and you wouldn't hear a peep from the international community.

But yeah, with that amount of ships and the fact they used the word seige, I can definitely see this turning poorly

Hope these people stay alive and get it done. Bravery for sure.

The Italian dockworkers are adding a lot of support to this effort. And that's why it's important to understand our power as workers. Many other atrocities have been avoided or shortened by labor unions (typically alongside socialist organizations) throwing their spanners in the works. Once these kind of actions gain international solidarity, the citizens of many countries can stand united to halt the logistics line of this horror, like they have in the past.

my inner pessimist is convinced that that it won't have an impact and i hope he's wrong.

Absolute heros. History will remember them. Really hope the IOF doesn't do anything stupider than they normally do, but if they do end up killing people and sinking ships, let that be the catalyst for a global boycott at every port.

Respect, lets hope this is the critical mass needed for real change.
