I read another headline today that India is now the 1st provider of Diesel fuel to Ukraine.
That was pretty much India’s Cold War strategy, right?
Love my Indian government the started adding ethanol about 10 - 20 % percent to diesel and petrol, but not lowered the price. I know It will be good for earth and environment but atleast give a choice for non compliant vehicles. And other countries like bhutan get petrol from india via exports but still have lower prices?
Ethanol is often not more environmental, it's just a farming subsidy with more steps.
As a farmer, I think ethanol is the least efficient form of solar energy that one could come up with on purpose. It's fucking stupid in a world with cheap solar panels and LFP batteries.
Its all politicians blowing government winds in their own sails. The 2 companies minting money from ethanol blending are headed by sons of a minister.
