Welcome to a Star Trek community where you’re free to chat and share your opinions about all things Trek!

I want to have a place where fans can come to praise, discuss, and even criticise things in the Star Trek franchise. No show or movie is perfect, and I don't believe people should be silenced for having a dissenting opinion. That being said, there are still a few rules.

Be Nice - No personal attacks. You can disagree with someone's opinion, but it needs to stop there.

No Slurs - This is applicable to ethnicity, religion, gender, or anything else.

No Adult Content - Keep it family friendly.

No Spamming or Trolling - Consistently spamming comments or trolling is just not needed.

Keep Topics Trek Related - This is a Star Trek community, so of course discussion should stay in that area! That means no real world politics.

I did not know that I needed a Vulcan Patton Oswalt, but now I need more of him.

He was a pretty interesting character! It would have been fun seeing more of his fascination with humans.

Have only seen half yet (haha) but it is certainly the most fun episode this season. Seeing Spock so annoyed by being constantly reminded he is only half vulcan... hilarious.

Pike correcting it on the transporter pad to "four and one half Vulcans" followed by Spock's look of "seriously dude" had me rolling.

I thought it was pretty good overall! I got up early to watch it this morning, but I'll probably watch it again tonight before I write down my thoughts on it.

Omg, the scene after the credits was amazing. Doug is killing it!

Yes, it was comical! I don't ever remember them saying Vulcans can't use contractions before, and in fact we've heard full Vulcans use them before, but I still enjoyed it.
