I just saw this bit in the movie and was wondering where they stored that cast iron pot while they were traveling. In many scenes they don't seem to be carrying that much around.

Sam wears it as a cup most of the time. Hobbit testicles are disproportionately huge and getting an Orc blade poked into them wouldn't be fun.
