I was with friend in the suburb so it was really « controlled environment » after my initial success, we tried different crazy technics to start a feathers stick (like making the stick with an axe)

One of my friend really look foward to buying its first bushcraft knife which throw me down the rabbit hole once again. Now I’ve found BPS knives, which is a name I know from my r/bushcraft lurking, and their Finn Lite. Who look, frankly, awesome

Is there, in this fediverse, someone that bought one ?

Congrats on your first ferrorod fire! It's a lot of fun to practice with different tinders and see what works well for you, and what you can gather from around you.

I have had my eye on the BPS knives but haven't purchased one yet. They seem to be well regarded for the price.

Thanks ! Seeing how it could really be easy I’ll tried to show it to my kid’s friend and cousins 😅

For the BPS knives I cannot find a bad review so far.
