This is a bad sign for Microsoft imo. A lot of the "return to office" stuff is about shedding employees without doing layoffs.

As long as it's the vibe coders and whoever was in any way involved in deciding, authorizing, or coding the conversion of the Start menu to React Native.
Unfortunately, that’s who they’re retaining.
This is a bad sign for Microsoft IMO.
So, it is a good sign!
I guess if you are insulated from the american economy?
Anyone forcing return to office should be removed from power.
I've had a couple recruiters talk to me about full onsite jobs. I tell them no, because I value my time and health.
Labor should organize and remind the owners that they only live a peaceful life because we haven't flexed our power
Yeah its such a huge difference in life quality.
When I was forced to go into office three days per week, I felt like a prisoner. It was really affecting my life. I had no energy left after work and was generelly just so tired that i watched tv and went to bed.
That feeling of being completely drained is not fun. For what. Its not a good life.
Full time traffic, long hours, and the inability to walk your dog when Joe pisses you off will, I’m fairly certain, eventually lead to violent mental breakdowns as people are no longer conditioned to the ridiculous lack of work-life balance.
It’s just layoffs.
