Yeah, seemed like a pretty weak punishment considering. Harbaugh was punished more severely than the school and he isn’t even coaching in college football anymore, so not really a punishment. Slap on the wrist.

Right, if the only punishment is financial with no postseason ban and no vacated postseason wins, then there is no punishment. I'm not paying the fine, coaches aren't paying the fine, players certainly aren't (nor should they to be clear).
But I've seen estimates that this will cost UM ~$20 mil, and I've seen similar estimates that TN's new Adidas deal is worth just north of $20 mil so...
This compared to the punishment USC got for Bush thing is a scam (not an SC fan, just CFB fan). It's utter BS. Vacate wins, cut scholarships in half and restrict NIL money. Now UM is on my dislike list. There aren't many!
