Update: Bad news, I redid the thermal paste on GPU and CPU and still having the crashes.

Good news, I got my tax refund and the OK from my partner to up the budget so I have put together another proposed build with a few comments from my post last week in mind as well as a higher budget.

I like ASUS and it has done me well so I changed the MoBo to another ASUS and changed the GPU and CPU to ones suggested in the comments.

Please let me know what you think of this new proposed build. I figured I would just start fresh with everything new as I really don't know why the system is crashing. It already crashed once just while making this post. I'll only put in my old hard drives for access to all my media files.

Do you really need a new case? That shouldn't be contributing to crashes and if you reuse the old one you can put the money you save towards the 16 GB 9060 XT instead.

Otherwise you could save about half the money for upgrading to the 16 GB 9060 XT by swapping to a ThermalRight air cooler (Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit), the 7600X isn't nearly demanding enough to need liquid cooling. You could then opt for a cheaper case if necessary to fit the 16 GB 9060 XT in your budget.

Bottom line: Do what you can to get the 16 GB 9060 XT.

When I tried my old case with this build but it didn't show as being compatible. lt was the CPU cooler that had a compatibility issue. If I stick with a single fan CPU cooler then I can use my old case(which is odd because I have a space on the top of the case for a double fan cooler.

You should run a memory test, and if possible, test out another power supply before you commit to an expensive new build.

Im giving the memtest a try. It's a learning curve on doing these terminal commands, I feel like I'm back in DOS from the early 90s.
