That's wild

This is from 10 years ago and the first instance I found of it on reddit they were already complaining about it being a repost

[โ€“] MystikIncarnate@lemmy.ca 9 points 6 days ago

I know the OP's legitimacy is in question, but, if my grandma got/made me a vest to wear "to parties" you'd never see me not wearing it. Regardless of what was on it.

The original poster was a filthy liar, so that invalidates any wholesomeness in the image, but you know.

I would wear the fuck out of that vest.

nice repost for another community, but not a meme.

Would unironically work. Easiest ice-breaker in the world. Grandma's still a woman. She knows what floods her basement.

[โ€“] beejboytyson@lemmy.world 48 points 1 week ago (3 children)

She should get that looked at....

The Noah's ark theme is a bit much for me but besides that he looks surprisingly cool with it

[โ€“] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 36 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Is there an ark on there? I thought it was just a depiction of Africa.

[โ€“] db2@lemmy.world 68 points 1 week ago (3 children)

It's gonna take a lot to drag it away from him, there's nothing that 100 men or more could ever do.

All the animals are in pairs of two, there's one side of the chest with clouds and the other side with sun and a single white dove like the one who brought Noah the branch to signal the water was retreating...yeah it's definitely a Noah's ark theme

Attractive people can wear pretty much anything and it'll look good.

[โ€“] Delphia@lemmy.world 67 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Thats what I was thinking.

This MF so handsome women will use it as an excuse to approach him and ask and then he will tell them his 90yo grandma made it for him to wear to parties and they will immediately get spontaneously pregnant.

You just summed up the entire designer clothing industry.

Grandma can't see the pins anymore to take them out.
She made me a lovely quilt. I'm pretty sure I'll never be done pulling pins out of it.

Treat that vest very carefully for a while. No sudden moves.

[โ€“] Mr_Fish@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

Don't hug people too tight either

The virgin overpriced brand vs. the Gigathad grandma vest.

Edit: No sarcasm, no jokes.

[โ€“] Itdidnttrickledown@lemmy.world 41 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I would wear that like a boss.

That vest is absolutely epic. One can only wear it if they truly own it.

I think he's pulling it off

Man walks down the street wearing that, you know he's not afraid of anything.

Damn straight!

[โ€“] SugarCatDestroyer@lemmy.world 25 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I'm going to cry now, these clothes have a real soul, unlike these empty branded things.

[โ€“] MystikIncarnate@lemmy.ca 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It would, if the OP wasn't a complete fabrication.

[โ€“] SugarCatDestroyer@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Well, you're right, because of this damn AI the internet will finally die and turn into a minefield, in that case I'll leave the internet forever, so to speak, goodbye my dear, you were like a brother to me.

[โ€“] MystikIncarnate@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 days ago

[โ€“] Aetherion@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I wish I had a vest like this and the confidence to wear it at parties. This guy is a Chad.
