multi-track drifting is real‽

Modern problems require modern solutions

I do it accidentally in Derail Valley Simulator, not frequently, but yeah you can totally screw up your switches/points, by rushing things.

Shitty billionares have always been there and will always be there no matter how many get "accidently" killed. But Mr. Trump didnt happen before. US democracy has never been that close to ending

[–] mortalic@lemmy.world 7 points 4 weeks ago

Not if we tax the shit out of them.

The future is full of hope

[–] JeSuisUnHombre@lemmy.zip 75 points 4 weeks ago (2 children)

Definitely let it go straight. Donny already has so little time left that taking out the other 3 would be much more productive

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 33 points 4 weeks ago

Not only this, but Trump is a symptom, not the cause. The three on the track amplified Trump's voice. Letting the train go on the bottom track is the long term solution.

[–] tazeycrazy@feddit.uk 2 points 4 weeks ago

Would the shock of seeing his three biggist doners caues him to have a heart attack or is he too out of it to care.

The best use of this image ever. I chuckle snorted😂

Michael knows the solution.

The problem is ultimately about personal responsibility and harm reduction. Nothing says you can't kick one of them to death.

[–] Neondragon25@piefed.social 14 points 4 weeks ago

Easy, I grab trump's magic Sharpie and connect the tracks making a loop!

[–] 21Cabbage@lemmynsfw.com 10 points 4 weeks ago

I still don't look forward to when Trump dies, it'll probably be his fault and result in an actual avalanche of conspiracy theories, in no doubt inspiring acts of terror.

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 9 points 4 weeks ago

Why is Thiel not on the tracks? He is a puppet master.

[–] robocall@lemmy.world 8 points 4 weeks ago

The billionaires

[–] barnaclebutt@lemmy.world 8 points 4 weeks ago

Trains can go in reverse, right?

[–] Ashiggan@eviltoast.org 8 points 4 weeks ago

Run over Trump, then reverse and run over the oligarchy bastards then proceed to run overTrump, forward and backwards, until the train physically can't move anymore.

[–] lemmylump@lemmy.world 5 points 4 weeks ago

Kill the three younger billionaires, let the burger clown suffer a slow death.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 weeks ago

Going by the assumption that everyone on only one track dies and the others live, I'm flipping the lever so hard. Not even the combined evil of those 3 is as bad as the cult of personality Trumpler has control over.

[–] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone -4 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

ngl, killing Trump would probably be the better option. Just those three billionaires aren't as dangerous the dictator of a powerful empire.

[–] kkj@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Before the election, sure, but replacing Trump with JD Vance doesn't inhibit the power structures that he represents nearly as much as offing three billionaires.

[–] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm sorry, but that's simply wrong. JD Vance will not be able to hold onto power like Trump can. He's a charisma black hole who was chosen because he was weak, just like Mike Johnson was chosen for speaker. Trump is not normal; he's much better at beating his competition and consolidating power than people give him credit for. Just like many dictators who similarly consolidated power around their personality cult, his coalition will fall apart shortly after his death.

Billionaires are far more replaceable in comparison, as they're mostly members of a powerful class. Killing them would be an act of terror that could drive their behavior, not a meaningful change in how things work

[–] kkj@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Vance would almost certainly not be reelected, sure, but Trump isn't eligible to run, so it'll be an uphill battle for him too. He isn't stupid enough to get removed from office, and that's all that he has to do: sign Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, and John Birch Society bills for the rest of the term.

doubtful. They would also lose support from capitalists and see factionalism limit their reign. Many interests, often not even ideologically opposed, will try to take charge. Trump's death will eventually usher in a feudal era where capitalists pretend to resurrect liberal democracy. This is because they'll have missed the stability and power they used to have; where they don't have to worry about tariffs or showing fealty to one man.
