Braun is German and my cheap Oral B electric toothbrush (same company) was made in Germany.

Philips is Dutch-owned, if that makes a difference.
Oh. Oh, I'm dumb. Yes that would've changed my mind, I don't know why I just assumed it was US based without even checking.
Well at least I'm trying something new and more local now so I'll see how that goes.
I ran out of heads of my tooth brush, I saw the bamboo heads. I tried ordering them but something was wrong, don’t remember what exactly it just made me uncomfortable ordering them. I have no idea about the actual motor though.
I ended up getting a non electric one, I like minimizing my plastic use so I ended up getting one that has replaceable heads that you change every few months, I think they suggest 3 months but I am coming close to 6 now and the head is still firm and great. They are Canadian.
Do not get me wrong I miss my electric power but I am fine with a manual brush.
That's fair enough, thanks for the note. I do feel bad using an electric toothbrush with the amount of waste it generates, but the difference it's made with my teeth is huge.
While I was searching earlier I also found a Canadian company (Zerro) that sells heads for oral-b brushes, which they claim are recyclable through a recycling program they use, you just have to send them back to them. It's not totally waste free but a little better.
I ended up ordering the bamboo toothbrush from vearthy since the reviews for their bed stuff seemed decent and the cost was alright. I'll pop back here and let everyone know how it goes!
