there are youtube videos on the best methods for nabbing a pigeon. honestly they are free pets. they arent wild animals. they are feral animals. 100% of pigeons in the west are escaped pets from a long time ago that have bred in the wild. they do really well when kept as pets and live much better, healthier, longer lives.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Have you tried feeding him?
Not yet, I just moved in. I'll try to see if I can find a feeder that I can install outside my window when I'm back from holidays.
I have had pigeons make nests and lay eggs in my balcony quite often in the past and had to constantly protect them from crows.
What a gorgeous lil dove. I see them all over the city I work in, and they’re such industrious critters. From high points in buildings you can see their favorite little alcoves on the roofs where there are good sized puddles, plenty of shade, and lots of cliff like nooks on the sides of buildings. They manage to find and make nests in the smallest spots without anti-bird spikes- and I’ve seen them rip up smaller sections of spikes. I think they’re the critters I have the toughest time not anthropomorphizing - they just have such big personalities, and have persevered through so much human bullying
