Help. Someone sent my dad a Reddit post making fun of woke people on r/circlejerkaustralia. He's reading it out loud.

don't stress
Iโm not ready to wake up at 6:30am tomorrow morning.
Yesterday was a day of vacuuming and laundry and today I'd like to do nothing, but I don't think that's gonna happen. Last night I decided it's time to get back on my fitness journey/bandwagon/whatever it is. I lost a lot of weight and got fitter, but now it's all back to how it was and I need to address it. Back to daily at home exercise and workouts. I wish my local park had those free exercise machines that other parks have, I love some of those! Hard to find an app which has good exercises for older people who don't want to trash their joints or pay an ungodly amount for a monthly subscription. I've uninstalled a couple already because they're too pushy for money, want to send too many notifications or have too many ads. The app I used last time has really gone downhill in this regard. So I'm still looking.
This is so good hear! I'll be starting my workouts again too. I just wanna get stronger ๐ช
This is my favourite workout. All you need is 1kg weights to start or 2 cans of soup.
That's pretty cool! Just having a glance through Tom's guide's exercise section and there's a lot there, it's a pretty good resource, so thanks for that!
Seems like the day for activity after yesterday's blustery weather. The sun is making all the difference - that and the yucky feeling after rotmaxxing on YT all day yesterday in bed/on couch.
So far aside from the usual cleaning, have given the air fryer as best a clean as I could (I suspect I need Jif and steel wool to really do the job), and done the big task of the day - cleaning the air purifier filters after over 6 months non stop operation in this awful dusty carpeted place. I should've done it ages ago; there's arcs of very fine dust almost embedded into the plastic of the outer panel that I needed to scrub very hard to get it off. The cleanable parts are getting a good sun propped on my bed after the vacuum and wash. The carbon and HEPA filters probably do need replacing but I'll do it when I get back (just two weeks before I go, seems pointless to replace it now).
I so very deeply miss my plants... sigh...
Well that was an interesting afternoon. We went as a family for fish and chips in the park, then took a drive to some of the parks in neighbouring suburbs that have outdoor gyms and tried them out. Went to about 4 different spots; some had great equipment and some not, but I ended up cobbling together a fairly good workout and the kids got into it as well. It's not sustainable for me though, because these places are not convenient for me to get to. If the park near my house had an upgrade it could include equipment like that. But my exercise program for today was sorted anyway!
That's awesome! It's so fun checking out local parks.
Nap #2 is over.
Time to feed the strays shortly and dig into some music stuff.
Been practising the covers I'll play at open mic almost every day the last week or so. I intend to get back out in 2 weeks.
I think it'll feel very different to last time because I'm not numbed out. It was an awesome time don't get me wrong, but when I think back to it, it's like it's cloudy.
Hard not to nap with a fluffy nap friend.
Just got back from a friend's birthday lunch: delicious lasagna and bunch of sides from LasagnaLab. Now I'm back home in time to watch Dustin Poirier's last fight in the UFC. this is sad, but also hype. Dude is a legend and generally good guy
hehe yet another oxalis post on the other place gardeningaustralia.
And everyone arguing how to get rid of it (again) lol. It's just that time of year I guess.
Hehehe and you hold all the secrets. ๐
damn you Bottom, on the way to the beach walking past houses with their gardens all I could see is how infested with oxalis they are
Any Salvation Jane (aka Patterson's Curse) in the mix? We have that here in Thornbury on the nature strips - I pull it out when I see it. Have been criticised for this by folk who like the 'pretty purple flowers'.
lol, misery loves company :)
TIL a new word, conspecies.
species so alike as to be very difficult to tell apart ( I am sorting and classifying my shells from NZ )
Popped some codral original night tablets before bed last night and had a much needed good sleep. Iโve got the energy today to vacuum / mop and water the houseplants. I really struggle to just sit around all day long when Iโm sick. Thatโll be it though as I donโt want to push myself too much.
This weekend has been a lot. Night all!
Sleep tight!
Today's activities are the gym and some cleaning.
That's it. Then it's leisure time all day, fuck yes!!!!
I'm going for a walk, some admin and cooking. Enjoy!!
Thank you :)
All is done, nap #1 has been had.
Now, to hassle the cat lol
Goodnight all โค๏ธ
It's a nice day. Good opportunity to repot some orchids, clean up the balcony and then go for a walk on the beach. ๐๐บ๐ฉด

In NZ I bought a toy Tui bird with a sound box. When the local currawongs call I press the Tui button. Silence in return.
( Tuis are adorable, they are about the size of a lorikeet, are dark green with little white tufts in their chins, are clowns and have a sweet call )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bqw9LvW2nvw they sound like R2D2!
I also saw the Milky Way at night. ๐๐
They are so cute. I was amazed by Kiwis too - the way they stomp around in the dark. It's so clear they had no natural predators. So glad you had so many good experiences on holiday
omg, the kiwis are the cutest thing I have ever seen . We went to a kiwi house where they have kiwi research and there was an enclosed habitat with viewing under very low light conditions.
The kiwis are so big which got me by surprise. Quite verbal with calls and yes, they stomp around. ๐
We went here to the Nocturnal Kiwi house https://www.newzealand.com/au/plan/business/kiwi-north-museum-kiwi-house-and-heritage-park/ Photos were not allowed. In fact photos were allowed in few places, hence mostly beach pictures.
Oh thanks I would love to check that out if and when I get back to NZ
It was wonderful. ๐ค๐

Thank you Doctor Chef :)
3 lasagni please
I wish I had your tapeworm.
Bob is mine and he loves me. You can't have him
Edit: it's also Bob that wanted all those penises yesterday, not myself -- to clarify
Already have one of my own. Don't need yours, I don't know where its been.
Was thinking of breeding a supertapeworm to franchise out in order to solve the ozempic situation, but sadly the logistics are a bit complex. There is a need for more research.
ozempic is out of patent, it's about to get way cheaper
Quantity/supply is still pretty sparse I understand. A generic version would be a blessing for public health etc.
We can assist with distribution.
Ahuh riiiiiiiight.
marmalade toast and tea please

Thank you chef
Good night everyone. Sweet dreams. ๐
Tomorrow is another busy day ๐
Everyone has been so busy! Iโve been taking it very easy.
