RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

Me neither. Bores me to tears
I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by people who want to talk about last night's game and all the dominoes that need to be in place for home team to make it to the finals.
I love playing sports, but only really enjoy watching high stakes games.
unfathomably dull, i just can't get the appeal
Watching other people play sports.
There are lots of them: “reality” tv, spectator sports, watching other people play video games, podcasts, audiobooks, and probably a ton more.
I love audiobooks. They drown out my inner monologue when I'm crocheting.
Watching TV / movies. I’d rather game, read, go outside, play music, and create stuff.
My people!
I don't mind the occasional movie or show, but I don't understand how people just sit down and marathon things like that.
Hockey.
Sorry, you're wrong about that one.
Movie, following latest music, kpop, basically all sports.
Seems like pretty much everything
Watching TV, fishing, sewing and knitting, shopping, golf
Picnicking! I will if I have to but why? Such an unnecessarily uncomfortable experience, lol.
Camping.
Expensive whiskey. Movie theaters.
Drinking sweet sodas. Getting the mail. Gambling.
I'm on the water all the time and guys constantly ask me if I did any good, meaning fishing. I just don't care to.
Funny thing is, I have tons of gear from picking it out of bushes, tress and docks. Keep thinking maybe I'll try my hand one day, but I'm woefully ignorant of what sorts are legal to keep, when and what species are active, all that. Mainly though, I don't want to harm our ecosystems any more than my existence already does.
I see a lot of folks obsessed with meticulously organizing things. While a tidy space is nice, I'd much rather spend that time chasing high scores in Slope Game. It's all about speed and reflexes, a far more engaging challenge than alphabetizing my spice rack. Some find joy in order, I find mine dodging obstacles at breakneck pace in Slope Game!
