I've read and pondered your collective input from the other rule vote.

I wanted to gauge the community consensus on AI content in general on Shirts That Go Hard. Should we allow AI generated content to be posted here?

Remember kids, always say NO to AI slop

Simply, no. It's not 'fictitious shirts that go hard'. If it hasn't been made from materials, printed, stitched etc, it is slop that doesn't belong.

100%. If it’s AI, it doesn’t go hard. It doesn’t go anywhere.

I'll block the community if AI generated content is allowed.

No AI. Nothing but real shirts. You’re better than that. We’re better than that.

The less AI sludge anywhere online the better, in my opinion

Only physically real shirts.

Don't want "ai" here.

I also wouldn't really want fake shirts made with Photoshop by hand. AI is worse though.

Curious about an edge case: what about photos of real shirts that have obvious AI content printed on them? My vote would still be to not allow it.

I would vote the opposite, if it's a real shirt then it doesn't matter what made the shirt content

Edit: Oops, misread that comment. Was thinking AI on the photo of a real shirt instead of AI on the real shirt.

I'd reluctantly allow it, but it would be less likely to get an upvote from me if I can tell.

~~There would still not be a real shirt having that content, so what would be the point?~~

~~I feel the same about human drawn or edited shirts - unless someone actually created it physically then it's just an idea and not a shirt that goes hard.~~

If someone goes through the trouble of ordering/printing it, buyin/selling it, and wearing it, at that point I'd consider it a real shirt.

Oh! I misinterpreted the top-level comment, and was thinking of a photo of a (possibly blank) real shirt that later had AI stuff added to the photo.

Hmm. A real shirt with AI Slop on it would indeed be a corner case, I guess it would count, but it'd only upvote if it goes Very hard.

Oh I agree. If it goes Super Hard then all this AI nonsense has been worth it, TBH.
