Saline rinse has kept me clean for at least 5 years but I did have to decline it and ask to wait for a smaller endoscope when an ENT nurse attempted to non-consensually dose me before-hand

Oh hey I saw something about this recently. I read the medicine subreddit cuz I’m a weirdo. Dunno if this will be helpful, but here’s what I saw one doctor type person post:
Have them toss out half a bottle of afrin and mix with saline, use that for a week, then toss out half again and dilute again with saline, use for a week, continue diluting until they feel ready to go off. Sometimes a short oral pred burst is needed too unfortunately
You can buy saline solution and start watering it down. Makes it easier to stop needing it
Why do they sell this holy shit
My kid has one that is plain saline not sure if that would help
So my dad used to be addicted to the stuff, and a doctor got him to start using flonase instead, and it really worked. Your sinuses can heal, it just takes time not being inundated with nasal spray.
I've got a dr appt in a couple days for something unrelated and I had already planned to ask about switching to something like that. This shit is for the birds.
I use the xylitol shit, works wonders and non-addictive
fucking expensive though
