Territory" (1993) by Sepultura is a raw critique of land disputes, propaganda, and dehumanization in conflict zones—particularly resonant with the Israel-Palestine struggle. The lyrics expose how ideology weaponizes geography. Over 30 years later, enduring its relevance.

i loved this album, the one before and after too. But now, after all these years, i can only listen to Roots.

wonder how Sepultura would have evolved if Max was still a part of the group after that album :/

I am not surprised. Roots is an incredibly tasteful album. They ventured beyond groove metal.

Actually, there is a fantastic studio performance of Roots from back when. You might like it!
