YOU CAN SAY HIGH ON THE INTERNET

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

Well, some of the internet or we wouldn't be seeing this trend. πŸ˜…

It's almost like we shouldn't be copy-pasting shitty censored memes from those places, huh?

[–] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 14 points 10 months ago (4 children)

Where did you get this op? I'm curious what site their users are actively going out of their way to censor bad words

[–] Sixtyforce@sh.itjust.works 15 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

It's more a younger generation thing due to TikTok. Depressing, innit.

If I ever start reposting memes, I'll deliberately edit the bad words back in before posting.

I think OPs should too on Lemmy, but I'm not their mom.

Huh, I guess I just don't understand it, must be getting old

[–] CalipherJones@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago

It's because TikTok censors the shit out of people. I said "gross" and had my comment removed.

[–] lazynooblet@lazysoci.al 7 points 10 months ago

They didn't censor "fucking".

I am offended.

I wish people who do this would recognize they are playing into the corporate sanitation of the internet designed to make it more ad-friendly.

Once.

Because once I am high, I keep smoking to stay that way.

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 10 points 10 months ago

It's more of a question of when does the previous high end and the next one begin

[–] LuxSpark@lemmy.cafe 5 points 10 months ago

The answer is yes.

That would have been me 6ish months ago. I do miss getting high, but the last time I smoked, after a long tolerance break, I greened out HARD. Think I’m good for a while. πŸ˜…

i always wonder how much others smoke.

i smoke like 3-4 1g joints a day and feel like an addict. some people say that’s nothing tho so i have no clue.

On an annual average, per capita basis my household goes through 0.5 g/person-day.

Contextual notes: On working days household members do not smoke weed all day and tend limit themselves to approximately 5 hours of constant highness per day. On non-working days the time spend not high depends largely on if heavy machinery is used.

I'm not going to calculate how many working days occur in the year for this household as I am high and don't want to.

We usually grab a quarter pound a month which is basically the same as you. I know people who smoke significantly less, and significantly more haha

[–] Sixtyforce@sh.itjust.works 4 points 10 months ago

If I'm conscious, yes. Hope that helps, doc.
