Hi, so when i open the 'app menu', you know, the app drawer or whatever it's called, and then open an app from there, say Liftoff, and then close it by pressing the home button in my navigation bar, my phone goes back into the app drawer.. i want it to go back to the home screen. To get there i have to press it again. Any help? Ty

Check launcher settings. It should have a setting called remember last position or something, disable that.

Searched around for you.

I found that exact question for MIUI 12 and upwards. Seems like this is how it is on MIUI.

You can try installing a different app launcher.
