The problem with "reverse racism" is that it gets tossed around too casually. Might even be the case here. Gay person promoted a gay person? Apparently it must be reverse racism. Couldn't just be that the gay person is better for the job, or was more friendly with the boss. Nope, it's clearly because that person is gay.

Presumably, we'll see the facts once the case starts.

Umm. gay people are not a race. That would be discrimination based on sexual orientation. I suspect this woman has at least some validity in her claim. Maybe not enough to win but that is what they will determine.

You're right. I'm not sure where I got that from. I thought it was in the headline, but apparently I just can't read.

Common mistake. People often say racism for any discrimination but racism is about race which is an outdated term.
