Disney has finally created an interesting story since the 1st trilogy and star wars fans will never forgive them for it.

Saw Guerera did nothing wrong

My YouTube feed just recommended the clip from Rebels where he tears into Mon Mothma for being a feckless lib. I guess the moral of the story is, if you can't read theory, huff rhydo.

Lol, Rebel RFK with anti-mask rhetoric, and rhydo brainworms. Smh.

Many people are saying this.

Stalins Biography is just on another level - dude Robbed Statebanks and walked back from Siberia long before the hole Sending People to Space and safing the world from facism arc , while still writing theory.

I love how you can almost always tell by the BOLD TEXT and ron-soy that the video is made by a worthless waste of oxygen grown adult spending their entire day hemming and hawing about TV shows

Next up, Pedro Pascal in, "The Mao-dalorean".

An early character is carrying round/writing a manifesto

[–] MLRL_Commie@hexbear.net 3 points 1 year ago

Ok this sounds convincing to give it a go

In a few places but in the manifesto and also Luthen in The Speech.

And the first arc is literally ACAB

If you like spy thrillers, heists, prison breaks, and stuff like that, you might enjoy it

Andor is a secondarily a Star Wars show, which is to say that it's not concerned with its own lore and self-referential circle jerking like most other Star Wars media is at this point.

It is, first and foremost, a political thriller, and the story of one man's political radicalization into doing commie space terrorism.

Young Stalin is not a pro-communist book nor it is a historical book

[–] NephewAlphaBravo@hexbear.net 17 points 1 year ago

haha yeah imagine a star war where the protagonist is based on communism

[–] Euergetes@hexbear.net 12 points 1 year ago

Andor isn't even really like young stalin, he's a comintern advisor of sorts

[–] CommCat@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago (5 children)

Not a big Star Wars fan , but I should actually watch Andor?

[–] Riffraffintheroom@hexbear.net 11 points 1 year ago

Yes. It’s good slop.

[–] brain_in_a_box@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago

Yeah, it's good, it being part of Star Wars ends up being pretty secondary.

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 8 points 1 year ago

Absolutely. I'm not a big star wars guy either and I love it

Andor is Reds in space. No goofy shit, they don't use magic mcgiffins, the first big arc is them literally stealing gold from an armory that's sitting on top of a religious site for the locals that they forced out and into factories.

Andor's home planet is essentially a union town that organizes and rises up against imperial occupation after the blundering local cops try to raid them and get totally wrecked.
