Nearly six years after its original release, the wax cylinder episode has finally been digitized and shared by Piek768.

Oh uau thanks. I feel like they should have learned some old radio etiquette to keep their speech crisper in the recording but still, good fun.

What do you mean by "old radio etiquette"? Is it a set of techniques to improve diction?

To be fair, the waveform was etched into wax. Diction can only do so much.

I'm just happy to have a bit of new HI content to listen to :)

Yes. Back in the day, you would talk differently when on radio, or even when singing to record in vinyl, so that your words were properly conveyed. Laughing out loud is also a no-no, it just sounds like noise. Haven't you noticed how it sounds like they were always shouting in old radio recordings?
