The telling question would be "Would Farage want to change anything in the Tory Party?". Much of what the Tory party says and does is aligned with UKIP. It is easy to see why Farage sees a comfortable place within the Tory party. So for any Tory MP that cannot understand why they are despised so much, maybe think about how you are pushing the ideals that this man salivates over.

These clowns have jumped the shark.

They need every knobhead's vote, and will stoop as low as necessary to get them

They only successively jumped the shark because the shark looked up as they jumped over it, and went "nah, eating those would be bad for my stomach, I'll stick to mercury-poisoned seals, thanks"

He'll be back, and I'd wager as leader if he can be more fucking ridiculous than the lady beaten by a lettuce

As far as I'm concerned the Tories can welcome back whoever they like.

They can put any corrupt shitheel in any position they deem appropriate... after they've lost the next election.

If he's not interested, why is the smegger even at the conference, yet alone speaking?

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

!ukpolitics@lemm.ee appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
