I have a Pixel Watch 1 even though I don't love the design. I'm more into the health monitoring aspects than exercise. This hasn't done anything to the design and had only added skin temperature to the health monitoring?

Feels more like they're releasing a new model because a year has passed, not because they actually have a new model ready..

From what I can tell, there aren't software upgrades either.

design seems sweet, battery life is a bummer

At least they're keeping the Charge line of Fitbit. That's got a great compromise between battery life and functionality in my opinion.

The Versa and Sense line have even more functionality, with comparable battery life to the Charge. Wear OS (and WatchOS, to be fair) must be a massive battery hog

Yeah. I've got a Sense but I have a feeling they're gonna get the axe. The latest Sense doesn't have app support anymore.

That's a shame, the only reason I could think of for doing that is to create artificial separation with the Pixel Watch

I'm sorry but what's Nitter?

The content from Twitter, but you don't have to log in to view it.

Omg, lovely

Explain-like-I'm-five vibes, from, you know, that other site. Maybe we need that on Lemmy as well

It's custom frontend for Twitter.

I don't know why, but I really expected UWB. I guess not.
