Are ProtonVPN and ProtonMail two separate things? or if I'm subscribed to proton VPN can I get a proton email address along with it? or do I have to pay for them separately? (lemmy.world)

Hmm good to know. But what are my options for email if I've already gotten into a plan that costs $86.11 for 2 years of VPN?

I'm not sure how things work for the VPN side of things but I was using their e-mail service and upgraded to one of the bundled plans. My remaining subscription cost was ~~refunded~~ turned into prorated credits and my bundled subscription took over. I believe it is mentioned on one of their FAQs IIRC.
