That’s bad faith alt accounts.
A lot of us have alt accounts for privacy reasons, not to create bad faith alter egos.
Needs an additional panel of "When you realize it was your lemmynsfw.com alt"
I reply from my alt sometimes, mostly when my main instance is slow. It's the same username username and display name on both servers, though.
Why would people even use alt accounts?
- backup in case your primary instance is down
- admin/mod account to separate mod work from normal activity
- bot accounts
- test accounts
- and more...

It would appear you were all wooshed.
I agree, they were indeed wooshed.
A legitimate reason might be that you want to talk about things that your employers might not approve of, like your sexuality or your politics. We don't want to get fired because we are are LGBTQIA+ or oppose tyranny.
Currently, reports only go to Mods on the community's instance, so you need a Mod for that.
