I tried the pro version - I found a picture of myself in crowd at a concert that was taken by a blogger more than 10 years ago. I didn't know I was in that picture.

I used my mastodon picture. I was hoping it would find at least that, but it couldn't.

Are there any versions where you don't have to pay to find the link of yourself?

[–] Zoop@beehaw.org 1 points 2 weeks ago

I hope so, but I doubt it - it's a good money maker, I'm sure. I found a picture with it that's definitely me, but I don't even remember taking or sharing it. I haven't been able to find it with any other reverse image search type services that I've found so far.

Bad if you don't find yourself without an app, but worse when any idiot can track and stalk you usinge this app.

I uploaded a celebrity photo and it only returned a few TV screengrabs and promo shots. Not even a fan selfie.

Nope. But if the search results didn't find a single social media pic, it vibes like a scam. It's probably just hooked into Google image search or something.

Maybe, but reverse image search with face recognition is a big risk, PimEye isn't the only one, there are also FaceCheck, ProFace Finder and some other which are using AI, accessible for any s..normal.
