Since we're just making up an emotion for the cloud to "feel" for the headline why does it have to be lonely? Why can't it at least be horny or something?

[–] pearsaltchocolatebar@discuss.online 13 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Lonely can also mean, "without others of a simplest) similar kind," so it's not inaccurate.

[–] AngryishHumanoid@lemmynsfw.com 1 points 11 months ago

Well then horny still probably applies, hey oh!

a long, bright water ice cloud stretching out over the Martian surface, extending over the planet's Arsia Mons volcano all the way to the volcano Olympus Mons, the tallest mountain in the solar system

Very cool. I knew about Olympus Mons, but TIL about Arsia Mons!

That's 932 in freedom units, if anyone was curious.

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

That's about 702,700 bald eagle wingspans for real freedom units.

We should try to give it a friend.
