MODERATORS

put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

I’m going to sleep soon but I guess I’ll find out if I should listen to my vibes/gut feeling (Trump) or listen to the part of me that keeps insisting Kamala will pull a close victory via electoral college.

The five stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

if trump destroys the US I am going to be very angry and mad at those who refused to vote or voted for stein, because it will be partially their fault too

Apparently the Dems may manage to hold onto the House.

I saw early ballot counting (I think it was on ABC), and a lot of states had very high percentages of "other" voters, sometimes more than Harris or Trump. Think it's the Green/PSL voters, or is this a normal occurrence?

[–] kleeon@hexbear.net 23 points 10 months ago

okay yep. It is 100% joever now. Trump won

What are Harris' paths to victory? With North Carolina, Georgia and Arizona pretty much locked in for Trump at this point, how does she win? All Trump needs is one more swing state, excluding Nevada, to win. I can't see Harris performing a sweep of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to win. Trump just needs one of those states to win.

It's Kamalaover.

I don't think trump is going to do anything he's talked about including tarrifs. It's just going to be a generic neocon term
