This doesn't happen on desktop. My phone is, admittedly, aggressively stripped back of as much bazinga shit as I could manage to remove from it.

Site is working as intended. It's part of the Ulysses Containment Protocol.

Been a thing for a while, last time I read anybody else mentioning it, nobody seemed to have any ideas as to whats going on. I too am curious as to "what is up."

next.hexbear.net seems to work find for me though.

I want to cast my mind back to something I want to think I remember reading in some of the dev channels….

I believe I read that it’s a known bug somewhere in the Lemmy code, and a fix is being worked on.

In the meantime I’ve been using next.hex bear.net or a lemmy app like Voyager.

I have very little on my phone but browsing on FF works great for me and my rule is to only post from a phone. The only time I've had your specific issue was with NoScript but that breaks every site. If you offer more info about what phone type android/apple sys version and what browser it would likely be helpful for the folks techier than me

I think my noscript/adblockers are the issue, judging by what you said.

It works fine for me but I use chrome on android (yes I know I'm literally destroying privacy for all users in all dimensions simultaneously by doing this). So perhaps some chromium based browser will work better than what you're trying?

I might just accept the first page limitation. I can't make your decisions, but I hate chrome that much.

Check if the problem is also present on a diffferent browser

also could see if lemmy.ml has the same issue, since that's running the upstream code
