I want to go nuts at Bunnings but am so limited by my body and environment.

I’m trying to make the best of being stuck here but it’s really taking a toll on my mental health. (Unfortunately anywhere else I move is likely to be worse or I may never be able to move at all)

Service Sunday is here! Join the optional company gardening team and serve the Board of Directors’ elderly relatives! At our company we are always family first! Feel free to bring your own family members along!

Participants will receive light refreshments and a certificate of thanks.

Between the geraniums. With some force.

I stand by that it's still only 2:33am and the clocks will not have changed until I wake.

Somehow I was ready for work at 6:30 this morning which is super rare. Normally I'm rushing. I think it has to do with daylight savings and waking up at the end rather than the middle of a sleep cycle.

Anyway, one thing to note is that I am a casual, but this shift is my only consistent shift each week. I didn't check the roster properly because for about a year and a half, this shift has always been the same. Today I said to myself that I was going to be pretty early for once. But a voice in my head told me to make a coffee. I didn't listen to it.

I get there and wait for the manager to open the door. Surely enough, they changed my shift to start at 7:30, so I get less money. The manager had changed the shift on Thursday. It was my fuck up, but lowkey annoyed. Apparently it's to cut costs but they did spend $150 on a morning tea the other day. Spending less on wages yay. I think I will have to look for a new job soon because I must be getting too old for them.

On the bright side, at least I'll get a sleep in every second week starting half an hour later.

It turns out eggplant and tahini dip is delicious with baked beans

Eggplant with tahini is essentially babaganoush, no? And yes. Very delicious

Just got back from seeing The Substance. Great movie but holy crap it was full on with the gore.
