- Attack move as much as possible by default.
- Don't attack move if opponent has a lot of buildings that your units will target.
- Don't attack move you have a multi-unit composition when your units will end up attack the wrong unit. e.g. if you have archers & heroes against infantry & myth units, micro your heroes to attack their myth units.
- Focus fire the most dangerous enemy unit (e.g. shift-click archers onto a hero if you have archers & myth units)
- Be aware of select all military and select all idle military hotkeys. Use the idle one most often, but use all military when you know that's what you need.
- Select hero & select all heroes hotkeys
- Select all ranged units, select all cavalry, and select all infantry hotkeys, and others. Try using them as helps you.
- Use spread formation against units with splash damage like manticore, ballista. Also good against god powers like Shockwave and Chaos
- Hit and run/stutter step micro for archers.
- With cavalry, get the surround as fast as possible before engaging to fight.
- Know your army's strength and weaknesses, as well as your opponents'. Use them.
