Animekage, Romania's biggest and most complete anime fansubbing and piracy site was shut down (lemmy.zip)

It was the only way to watch anime with romanian subtitles, as there are no legal services that offer romanian subtitles, not even crunchyroll. The community was also very good, with people dedicated to translating, subbing, encoding and uploading

Their domain anime.kage.ro now redirects to the private tracker animetorrents.ro now. Most (but not all) of the series have been migrated there. A sad day to see the only active fansubbing community from here go away :(

Any news like this always hurts as much as being hit by a truck, but the ones about anime sites being taken down are the ones that make me the saddest. I will always hate the monopoly that Crunchyroll has established and I'm afraid that one day it will "win" and that all the other sites will end up having the same fate. Why is piracy involving anime is the one that suffers the most?
