I'm not sure whether the 'original sound' really came from the spacecraft, but they go on to speed it up, remove background noise, and add drums.

Then it's playing Darude Sandstorm 😂

The original sound is indeed from the spacecraft -- it's taken from the mission control recording. However, the filter is entirely fabricated.
