These are the stories conservatives tell each other when they’re sad.

Sad days in Texas: Property tax bill is due. Everything outside died (extreme heat and drought). Health care requires traveling to nearest free state. Favorite porn site blocked. Jump-scared by Cruz's (or Paxton's) bloated rotting face.

I'm sure the folks who love hate crimes, deny climate change, and claim ownership over women's bodies, from all states are looking to relocate to Texas.

After all I have heard about women's rights I am surprised that we don't see more just moving out of the state.

Now I am not American, nor am I a woman, and I realize that it isn't as simple as I make it sound, I am mostly just wondering how much of the women living in the state would need to go away before it would significantly affect the nativity of the state and people in power would change.

But eh, they would probably just find a new horrible way to oppress women.

Celina's population surged 26.6% from July 2022 to July 2023, making it the fastest-growing city in the US, according to recent Census data. The population as of 2023 was 43,317.

meanwhile,

Popular vote 5,890,347 5,259,126
Percentage 52.06% 46.48%

If 700 000 Democrats migrated to Texas, they might turn the state blue.

Then they want to leave 6 months later due to being surrounded by rabid racists.

Actually, Texas is retaining the most people that relocate in the whole US. Once a person moves to Texas, it is extremely likely they will die a Texan. Also, Florida and Texas gain more high income earners than other states.
