Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

nice video on an enby's experience with being queer and neurodivergent through their gender expressions and problems with holding conversations and social anxiety. they use a text-to-speech system to talk as they prefer using it over their actual voice

Very cool. I should figure out something similar so I can maybe play games with voice.

I was thinking what if you did VOICE to TEXT to VOICE

That would be good for faster paced games where you cant type. You can say things literally however you want and then it comes out as the flat AI voice on the other end

I may try to do something like this in my free time because it actually sounds like something I'd use. There's public libraries & models (OpenAI's Whisper comes to mind) available that seem pretty mature which could be a good starting position for the speech recognition part.
