Incredible scenes. The most dominant track and field athlete since Bolt, surely? Absolute league of his own, completely untouchable.

Loved his rivals just cheering him on and hyping him up as he was going for the world record, not even feeling bitterness but just enjoying being in the presence of greatness.

How the fuck do you compete against a 24 year old that has 21 years of experience in the sport.

All you can do is take notes, watch and learn.

It's also genetic lottery: his mother was a heptathlete and his father a pole vaulter. It'll be a long while until we'll see somebody else reach his level, I think. The only thing in his way are the absolute outer physical limits of the sport.
