So I just realized that a while ago I signed up for a comp that's happening in 2 weeks time. I signed up for Square-1, which I was quite into a while back but have not solved in months now. I guess I need a quick brush up cos I don't remember most of the algs

I haven't solved Square-1 in quite a while either.

Maybe I should get back into it. Good luck at the comp!

Thank you! I’d be happy if I can solve it under the time limit 😂

But yeah, getting back into it, Square-1 is fun! I just have a lot to learn there to be able to solve it under comps time limit/cutoff

Apologies for being a few days late. Been traveling so I haven't checked Lemmy in a while.

How's everyone's cubing journey?

I've also been a bit busy travelling, but I'm practicing some 3BLD when I can spare the time. I'm still terrible at it, but am enjoying the challenge. I also got a few new puzzles, but haven't made the time to scramble and solve them yet.

How's your cubing journey?

3BLD is great! I practiced it a little bit years ago and I've managed to get one official success (of like 7 minutes +) and I gave it up.

I'm mostly just solving 3x3 although not really practicing/learning anything new. My time has been around 14 seconds for a few years now and I don't see it improving any time soon. I do think my new cubes (WRM9 and RS3M V5) allow me to be consistently around 13-14 seconds, more so than the swings before with whatever cube I was using previously.
