"We were so focused on how fast people got sucked dry, we never stopped to realize why," said Mike Hunt, an assistant-upper-middle-deputy-manager at Statistics Canada.

Tax the wealthy, tax domestic speculators and implement a windfall tax on corporations. We have record profits while there's record suffering right now. We need less austerity.

The problem is that the gap was inequitable to begin with ..... allow the rich and powerful to have more wealth and control ... and the gap only widens.
