We were supporters on the front lines of the women’s liberation movement even when there were some who didn’t want us to be there—who said ooh, if you could just get out of the way, because you know, we’re strong women and they’re calling us lesbians [be]cause you’re around. We’re like, excuse me, we’re withstanding the lesbian invading—you better get used to that. As strong women you better get used to saying “and yes, many of us are!” Because otherwise, you’ll just back yourself right off a cliff. And I would ask you, do we have an equal rights amendment today? It was not a winning strategy.

We definitely do, but we're mostly young and lgbt and from western countries, so hating conservative liberals and fash is second nature, and moderate libs like pretending they're the furthest left possible, so we can't help but remind them that no, they're still very right wing

I thought this was a joke at first, I'm serious. Not everybody on this site is from the US, but the democrats are a garbage party and do nothing for communists in the US either. Even if we had a one-party dictatorship of the democrats, they would simply re-create the two-party gridlock within their own party, as they have done numerous times in the past (Obama administration, Biden administration, various democratic strongholds such as California). They're increasingly not much of a party anyway, since they have no apparent means of forcing their own members to follow the party line.

We literally do that all the time. You probably only found out about us after all this federation drama, during which we've been mostly making fun of all the goddamn liberals it's brought in, so that's why your perspective is skewed.
